Making Music

Lucy has been taking a music class once a week for the last 8 weeks. Well, I guess I should say we ALL are taking the class because everyone sings and dances together. She loves it! She only has a couple left- maybe we'll take some more later on! Here's a couple pics of Lucy making music at home!

Weekend with the Cousins

Last weekend for Valentine's Day The Marashians took a trip down to Los Angeles to visit the cousins, aunts and uncles. We took a trip to the park- Ella pushed Lucy in the stroller and kept putting on Lucy's socks as she pulled them off. We also had a yummy dinner at Aunt Lisa and Uncle Philip's house. Lucy had fun playing with her cousins!

Teeth!

I have been anxiously awaiting those cute, little teeth of Lucy's for months and months! Ever since she was about 3 months old, at the first sign of sniffles or grumpiness, I thought for sure she was teething, but, it would end up being a cold. This time I thought I'd gotten it right. She was sniffling and grumbly- I wouldn't get tricked this time- it had to be another cold. But, the next day while she was taking a bath, I saw a teeny white tooth poking through her gums! About a week later her second one began appearing. I really think they are the cutest teeth I've ever seen. I never thought I could love teeth so much! Here are some pictures of Daddy teaching her to brush.

Finished!

I finally finished the blanket I've been knitting for Lucy. I was hoping to have it done when she was born, but better late (10 months) than never! (Franklin really wanted to pose with it in the picture.)

Picnics

We've been combining our geocaching with picnics lately. It's been so sunny and warm (some people actually like that) so we've been taking advantage of it. I think Lucy may be an outdoorsy girl!

Our First Geocache

Today we took our first geocaching trip to Woodward Park. We had been looking forward to this for quite some time, and it didn't disappoint at all. We got to the park, loaded Lucy in the backpack, and headed out on the Eaton Trail. The cache wasn't the most difficult to find, but we did extend our trip by getting lost. When we finally got there, Chelsey spotted it first. Lucy and I had to keep lookout for any muggles (non-geocachers). There were a couple who came into the area while we had the cache out, but we were able to hide it well. When all was said and done we felt a sense of accomplishment. One of the best parts about it is that Chelsey will actually go hiking with me without realizing what she's doing. We definitely will continue to go geocaching, and I'm sure we'll be bringing many friends along too. It was a blast!

Getting Ready for Geocaching!

We have been wanting to go geocaching for a long time now. I think we would even talk about doing it back when I was still pregnant. Now we're finally getting closer to our first adventure! Paulie used a gift card from Christmas to buy a handheld GPS. And we just got a backpack for Paulie to carry Lucy in off Ebay! Last night Lucy, Paulie and I all went to Starbucks to plan our first cache to find. We took our laptops, got some warm drinks and started planning. We had to think up a name for our geocaching account- we're the Dancing Armenians. We are almost ready to go!! Be on the look out for us!
